 
 DENISON - Vonny Dobbs, 74, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2008 at Texoma Medical Center. Mrs. Dobbs was born July 28, 1934 in Bells, the daughter of Sidney and Gladys (Stanley) Webb. Vonny married Sammie Dobbs on June 22, 1957. She loved the Lord and was a very strong woman, with good values. Vonny was always there willing to help in anyway. She was a wonderful mom and grandmother. Vonny will be greatly missed by her family and friends, who loved her dearly. Mrs. Dobbs is survived by her loving family: daughters, Carolyn Carter and her children, Marlana and Amanda all of Denison; Betty Pearce and her son, Garry both of Denison; Barbara Edmiaston and her children, Greg and Kathy all of Arvada, Colo. and Kay Scott and her children, Melissa and Ken all of Mobile, Ala.; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Hazel Fritts; brothers, Sidney Webb Jr. and Ernie Webb. Vonny was preceded in death by her parents, Sidney and Gladys Webb, beloved husband, Sammie Dobbs, sister, Lydia Tomlinson and brother, Tommy Webb. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 7, 2008 at Fisher Funeral Chapel with Pastor David Gilbert officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Denison. Family visitation will be held from 6 -8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 6, 2008 at Fisher Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the direction of Fisher Funeral Home, located at 604 W. Main, Denison.
