DENISON - Larry Paul Harbin Sr., age 49, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at Texas Health Presbyterian-WNJ in Sherman.
Mr. Harbin was born April 26, 1961 at Perrin Air Force Base the son of Will and Eleanor Lois (Cook) Harbin. Larry married Holly Phillips on August 30, 1996 in Sherman. He had a great love for the Lord and was a member of East Baptist Church. Larry was also very active in NA and AA. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, classic cars and the Cowboys. Larry was a loving husband, father, son, and brother who will be greatly missed.
Mr. Harbin is survived by his wife Holly Harbin of Denison; children, Penelope Chambers of Sherman, Larry Paul Harbin Jr. and Lucy Harbin, both of Denison; parents, Will and Eleanor Harbin of Denison; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Fred and Shirley Phillips of Denison; brothers, Terry Harbin of Pottsboro, Bill Harbin of Denison, Ben Harbin of Ft. Worth and special family friend, Scotty Wright of Denison. He was preceded in death by his son, Mathew Harbin.
Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Friday, July 30, 2010 at Fisher Funeral Home with Pastor Brett Castle officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Family visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, July 29, 2010 at Fisher Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Terry Harbin, Bill Harbin, Ben Harbin, Eric Harbin, William Harbin and Donald Newsome.
Arrangements were under the directions of Fisher Funeral Home, located at 604 West Main in Denison.
