Truman Lee Teague was called home to his heavenly father on December 19, 2021. He passed away in the comfort of his home in Denison, Texas, surrounded by family and friends. On June 16, 1930, Truman was born in Denison, Texas, to Trumon and Hester Teague.
He married the love of his life, Betty Bentley, on December 18, 1948. They had seven children together. He loved having a large family and was passionate about his ancestry. The family was his everything. He worked many years at Coles Lumber Yard Company, where he met some of his closest friends. He was a great fisherman. He loved to hunt and travel. He always had a smile on his face and kind words to say. He was one of those people that never met a stranger.
He is proceeded in death by his parents Trumon and Hester Teague, wife Betty Teague, daughter Brenda Ray Teague, daughter Marsha Ray Teague, and three sons Earnest Teague, Michael Jean Teague and Dennis Teague, brothers, Jim, Bud, Bill, Charles, and Richard Teague, and sister Mary Bryant.
Truman is survived by daughters Martha Teague of Savoy, Texas, Joyce and her spouse Mike Bond of Canton, Texas, 16 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, 20 great-great-grandchildren, and many others that will truly miss him.
Services will be held at Fisher Funeral Home at 604 West Main St., Denison, Texas.
Funeral Service, Thursday, December 23, 2021, at 10:30 am.
Visitation, Wednesday, December 22, 2021, 5:00pm – 7:00pm.
