Sunday August 16, 1896 Death of Mrs. Myers Mrs. Jessie Myers, wife of H. A. Myers, died at her home, No. 321 North Rusk avenue, Monday last, at 4 a.m. Mrs. Myers had been ill for ten days prior to her death. A husband and two children are left to mourn the loss of a devoted wife and a loving mother. The funeral services were held at the family residence at 10 a.m. Tuesday. Interment in Fairview cemetery. A concourse of sympathizing friends followed the body to the grave. Mrs. Myers, though comparatively a new comer in this city, had encircled herself with many friends. She was a lady of culture and refinement, who regarded the upbuilding of her home as her chief delight and most sacred duty.
