Friday, January 10, 1919 pg. 5 W.G. Reynolds, 68 years of age, a well known citizen of Grayson county, died at his home in Denison Wednesday night. He formerly lived at Whitewright for a number of years. Funeral services were held at 10 o'clock Friday morning, interment being made in Fairview cemetery. Surviving Mr. Reynolds are his wife and the following children: Mrs. W.E. Hodges, Mrs. E. Johnson and Mrs. J.C. Baker of Denison; Mrs. W.C. Grant of Ravia, Oklahoma; O.W. Reynolds of Dallas and W.O. Reynolds of Nacona.

Friday, November 11, 1921 pg. 7 Zack C. Gordon, conductor on the Missouri, Kansas and Texas Railway system who was killed early Monday morning at Whitesboro when crushed between two couplings, was buried yesterday afternoon. The funeral services were conducted at the home, 218 West Hull street, at 4 o'clock by Rev. C.W. Hearon, pastor of Waples Memorial church. Interment was in Maple Grove cemetery. Burial services were in charge of the Knights of Pythias. Rev. J.S. Hodges, pastor of the Presbyterian church rendered the ritual of the dead. The funeral was attended by many friends of the family and a brother, C.W. Gordon of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, a sister, Mrs. Z.O. Shaffer and her husband of Moline, Illinois, Mrs. W.S. Jordan of Woodward, Oklahoma, sister to Mrs. Gordon was present. Because of illness Mrs. Lucinda Carley Gordon, mother of Mr. Gordon of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, was unable to attend.
