Saturday, June 22, 1935 Mrs. A. Urquhart Dies Early Hour Home Saturday Following an illness of three weeks, Mrs. Alice Grey Urquhart, wife of Charles Urquhart, died at the family home at six o'clock Saturday morning at 213 S. Fannin, where the couple had made their home for the past twenty-eight years. Mrs. Urquhart was born in New Albany, Ind., April 22, 1876, coming to Denison at the age of nine years. Her parents were Mr. and Mrs. W. K. Bray. She received her education here and on May 21, 1896, was married to Chas. Urquhart, to which union two daughters were born. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 4 p.m. at the Short-Murray chapel, with Rev. Gerald F. Miller, pastor of the First Christian church, in charge. Short-Murray will direct the funeral with interment in Fairview cemetery. Pallbearers are to be: Earnest Crane, Frank Stewart, Virgil Fogle, George Cuchenor, Arthur Boyer and Ray Campbell. Deceased is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Tom Flowers, of Denison, and Mrs. Norma Gamble, Housbon. Also four grandchildren, and three brothers and three sisters. The brothers are R. M. Gray and J. P. Gray of this city and W. H. Gray, Houston. Sisters are Mrs. J. C. Thomason, Denison, Mrs. Annie Urquhart, San Antonio, and Mrs. J. H. Phillips, Houston. She was a member of the Methodist church, also of the American Legion auxillary and the Woman's Benefit association.
