services for Jessie Earlene Owens, age 89, of Sherman, TX will be held
at 10:00 AM Monday, August 22, 2011 at the Fairview Cemetery in
Denison, TX. Alan Mattingly with Always Better Care will officiate.
Services are under the direction of Waldo Funeral Home in Sherman. She was born in McAlester, OK on August 5, 1922 the daughter of James T. and Mae Rogers Knight. Earlene graduated from McAlester High School in 1940 and then worked for Civil Service for many years. She married George K. Owens in Colorado in 1984. He preceded her in death on March 16, 2010. She is survived by her son, Roger Mosley and wife Elaine of Westerley, RI , daughter, Betty Fulenchek and husband Joe of Denison, TX, son, Mike Sweeten and wife Barbara of Lawrence, KS, 10 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Earlene was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
