  Millernease Thomas 28 August 1930 - 28 July 1994 Denison Herald July 31, 1994 Page 2  DENISON - Funeral for Millernease Thomas, 63, who died July 28, 1994, at Texoma Medical Center, will be 11 a.m. Monday at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Denison. Supt. Travis Alexander and the Rev.W.L.Venters will officiate. Arrangements are with Smith Memorial Chapel. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery. She was born Aug. 28, 1930, daughter of Joe and Pauline Watley Bennett of Denison. She was a graduate of Terrell High School in Denison and attended Paris Junior College. She married Merwin Thomas, who preceded her in death in 1961. She was a retired homemaker and a member of St. Emanuel COGIC, where she served as president of the choir. She is survived by sons, Merwen Thomas Jr. of Rockwall and Michael Douglas of Garland; daughters, Carmon Cannon of Denison, Marchia Love of Colorado Springs, Col. and Laniece Strogen of Lancaster; brother, Roy Royston of Houston; and eight grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Stanley Riggs, Kevin Wilson, Eugene Maslone, Barney Ruffins, Billy Malvern and Wallace Thompson. There will be a family time tonight at 214 W. Bond in Denison.
