EX-DENISON TEACHER, THOMAS JOHNSON DIED
Denison-Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in Johnson-Moore Chapel here for Thomas B. Johnson, 62,
of Beaumont, formerly of Denison, who died Friday in a Beaumont Hospital. He was a retired school teacher.
Rev. W. A. Kelly, pastor of the Pottsboro Baptist Church will conduct the service. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
The family will be at the home of Mrs. Wanda Simmons, 1512 W. Johnson, daughter of Mr. Johnson.
Services in Beaumont were held Saturday.
Mr. Johnson was born in Farmington, December 30, 1896. His wife is the former Miss Rita Hollingsworth. He taught school in Denison and Pottsboro before moving to Beaumont 20 years ago. He was a shop teacher in the Dick Dowling School, Beaumont. He was a member of the Baptist Church and a Mason.
Survivors are his wife; another daughter, Mrs. Anita Parham of Roswell, N. M.; five grandchildren.
