Friday, April 1, 1949 pg. 4 Funeral services for Ennis B. Elkins, employee of the Katy railroad, who died suddenly Wednesday afternoon, were held Saturday afternoon at Bratcher-Moore funeral parlors with Rev. W.O. Bucy, pastor of Trinity Methodist church, officiating. Mr. Elkins was born in Red River county in April 1900 and was educated in Paris and in Dallas. He was married to Miss Iola Rose in Sherman in 1920. He was employed by the Dallas Times Herald for several years and continued as agent for the Times Herald after moving to Denison. He was a member of Trinity Methodist church. His survivors include his widow; a brother, J.H. Westbrook, Dallas; and a sister, Mrs. W.H. Sayler, St. Louis, Missouri. Interment was in Fairview.
