    William L. Parkins 1860 - 1902 Nancy Gilmore Parkins 1872 - 1955 The
remains of W. L. Parkins, who died in Birmingham, Alabama, November 4,
of typhoid fever, arrived in this city last Saturday, and were conveyed
to the undertaking establishment of E. Halton. The funeral took place
Sunday afternoon, from the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Shone, on
Burnett avenue. The interment was made at the Maple Grove Cemetery.
Mrs. Parkins and family will, for the present, make their home with Mr.
and Mrs. Shone. Mrs. Shone is a sister of Mrs. Parkins.
