Friday, January 17, 1956 pg.5 Funeral services for Mrs. Van B. Ford, 77, were held at Bratcher-Moore chapel Saturday afternoon at 4 o'clock with Rev. Earnest L. Potter officiating. Interment was in Fairview cemetery. Mrs. Ford died suddenly Thursday, January 19, at her home, 709 W. Monterey. She had lived in Denison 54 years. Mrs. Ford was born in Eldorado, Kansas, April 1, 1878, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Creighton. She received her education in Eldorado and was married in Denison, December 27, 1914 to Van. B. Ford. Mr. Ford is a retired Katy blacksmith. Mrs. Ford worked at one time at Madden's. She was a member of the Baptist Church and the Order of Eastern Star. She is survived by her husband. Van B.
