Monday, April 13, 1908 pg. 7 Mrs. A.E. Cross, aged 36 years, died yesterday afternoon at 3:45 o'clock at her home, No. 1002 West Day Street, after a lingering illness of lung trouble. Besides her husband, A.E. Cross, an employe of the Katy, and two children, Harvey and Willie, Mrs. Cross is survived by her mother, Mrs. S.C. Thomas of Milltown, Kentucky; and the following brothers and sisters: James G. and Charles Thomas of Milltown, Kentucky; Miss Bert Thomas of Milltown, Kentucky; Mrs. Bettie Wagoner of Colombis, Kentucky; Mrs. Lula Copeland of Barlow, Kentucky; and Mrs. Vila Meshew of Barlow, Kentucky. Mrs. Cross had been a resident of Denison during the past 7 years and was a member of the Baptist Church for 23 years. The funeral took place this afternoon at 3 o'clock and interment was made in Maple Grove Cemetery. Rev. Leland Malone, pastor of the South Side Baptist Church, conducted the services at the church and grave.
