Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at Bratcher-Moore chapel for Mrs. Elizabeth Cate, 86, who died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Henry Vanstone, 1005 W. Gandy, Friday at 1:05 p.m.  Murray Marshall, Church of Christ minister,
officiated at the services and burial was in Fairview cemetery with Bratcher-Moore
directing.
Mrs. Cate was born in Cleveland, Tennessee, November 25, 1863, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Will Denton.  She received her education there and was married in Charleston, June 14, 1886 to the late Mr. Cate.  She had been ill for a year. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors are the daughter, Mrs. Henry Vanston, Denison; 3 sons, Robert M. Cate, Long Beach, California; Clark S. Cate, Wichita Falls and B.B. Cate, Dallas; 2 brothers, Everett Denton and Hugh Denton, Ardmore, Oklahoma; 7 grandchildren
and 6 great-grandchildren.
