DENISON - Funeral for E. E. 'Gene' Kennedy Jr., 77, of Savoy, who died at a nursing home there Saturday, will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Bratcher Funeral Home chapel. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Dr. Steve Mansen will officiate.
Kennedy was born Oct. 1, 1911, in Hillsboro, son of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Eugene Kennedy. He married Martha May Hardin, May 7, 1932, in Muskogee, Okla. He was a clerk for the Missouri-Kansas-Texas  Railroad prior to retirement June 5, 1974.
He was an elder in the First Christian Church in Denison.
Survivors are his wife; a sister, Madge Suttlehan of Denison.
The family will be at home.
Pallbearers will be W. H. Denison, Tommy Suttlehan, Howell Williams. C. E. Reasoner, L. C. Leverette and Billy Bird Jackson.
