Friday, July 23, 1943 pg. 6 DEATH ROLL Following an illness of several months, Mrs. Otha O'Dell, known unto hundreds here as "Hazel", and one of the most popular sales ladies, church workers and genial characters, died at a local hospital Thursday. Funeral services were conducted by her pastor, Rev. Ben F. Hearn, of the First Christian Church, Friday at 5:30 with interment at Fairview. Funeral services were at Short-Murray chapel. For the past 4 years she has been on the road as sales lady and demonstrator, after serving the Kingston drug store for several years. She retired several months back because of her health condition. Born in Denison and educated, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. A. Good. She was married at Van Alstyne October 14, 1929 as Miss Hazel Good to Otha O'Dell. Surviving are her husband, two brothers, Wm. O. Good and Walter L. Good, both of Chicago. Sisters are Mrs. Myrtle Simpson, Mrs. Louie Scott of Chicago; Mrs. Lola Morrison, Quannah; and Mrs. EvanBurch, Denison.
