Funeral services for Mrs. Louise O'Dell, 78, of 1823 West Morton, were held at the Bratcher-Moore chapel Saturday afternoon, with the Rev. Ed Bayless officiating.  Interment was in Fairview cemetery.
Mrs. O'Dell, widow of the late George O'Dell, was born in Owensboro, Kentucky, January 31, 1871, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel T. Venable.  She was educated in Denison schools and at Harshaw's Business College, and was married at Dripping Springs, November 8, 1894.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian church.  She had lived in Denison for 72 years.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Ada Posey of Denison; a brother, W.L. Venable of Verden, Oklahoma; and one grandchild.
