Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Guy Newman at the Short-Murray chapel Wednesday for Patricia Ruth Kennedy,
8 months old child of Mr. and Mrs. O.W. Kennedy, who died Tuesday morning at the family home, 609 E. Sears.  Interment was in Fairview.
The father is in the service of the U.S. Navy as a 1st class petty officer and is in the Pacific waters.  A complication of whooping cough and pneumonia brought on the death after 2 days of illness.
Surviving are the parents and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W.G. Beshears, Denison; and Mr. and Mrs. F.M. Kennedy, Neches, Texas. A brother, Jimmie Kennedy also survives.
