Friday, January 22, 1943 pg. 6 DEATH ROLL While listening to the family radio at his home route 2, Denison, Marvin B. Hearn, 62, died suddenly Sunday shortly after 9 a.m. He was a retired railway clerk, having come to Denison 35 years ago from Caddo Mills where he was a rural mail carrier. Funeral services were conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday from the Short-Murray chapel with Rev. Bruce Hibbitt officiating. Interment was at Fairview with Short-Murray directing. Mr. Hearn was born January 13, 1881, at Pittsburg, Texas, his parents being Mr. and Mrs. E.B. Hearn. He was a member of the Baptist church, the Railway Mail Association, the Knights of Pythias, and the Elks club. Surviving are his widow; a son, Edwin, Camp Wolters; and two daughters, Mrs. Ava Jane Morrison and Mrs. Earl Poulter, Denison. Brothers are W.D. Hearn, Nocona; E.A. Hearn, Mineral Wells; and Roger Hearn, Emory. Sisters are Mrs. W.A. Thomas, Amarillo; Mrs. C.F. Stevenson, Caddo Mills, and Mrs. Fred Robinson, Weslaco.
