Tuesday, October 2, 1934 pg. 1 Heart Attack Takes Life of Bert B. Walker Bert B. Walker, 42, 130 East Walker street, former Denison police officer, was found dead of a heart attack at the south end of the Rusk avenue viaduct Tuesday morning at 1:10 a.m. Mr. Walker's body was discovered by Paul Steele, service car driver. Local police officers were notified of the discovery and following an examination by Dr. W.A. Lee, the body was removed to Short-Murray funeral home. Mr. Walker was born in Denison January 1, 1892, son of Mr. and Mrs. J.C. Walker and received his schooling here. He served for a time with the Denison police force and recently had been employed as a service car driver. He married Miss Ethel Haynes July 16, 1928 at Madill, Oklahoma. He is survived by his widow; one daughter, Dolores May; 2 sons, Albert and James William Walker; one sister, Mrs. Earl Hutton, Shawnee, Oklahoma; and 4 brothers, Jess Walker, Dallas; Leo Walker of East Texas; and Ed and Earl Walker, Denison. Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at the family home, Short-Murray are in charge. James W. Walker 1915 - 1941 Ruby F.
