ENGINEER JUMPS FROM CAB.
KILLED
DENISON, Sept. 4 - E. G. Evans, Katy passenger engineer was instantly
killed near Durant, Okla., this morning while going at a great speed.
A defection in the block signal which indicated a blocked track and expecting derailment or wreck the engineer jumped.
The fireman remained with the engine and brought the train to Denison.
