For Loss of Eye
Alleging the loss of an eye and the receiving of other permanent injuries while employed by the defendant railway company in the capacity of fireman, A.C. ELmore, has filed suit against the Missouri, Kansas and Texas Railway company for damages to the amount of $25,000.

The funeral of A.C. Elmore, the Katy fireman, aged 33 years, who died of Bright's disease yesterday, was conducted this afternoon from the residence, No.405 West Morton street by Rev. Ray.  The interment was at Fairview cemetery.  The
decedent was a member of the B. of L.F. & E. Lodge of Denison.  He is survived by a widow and 4 children by a former wife.
