DEATH ROLL
George P. Ritchie, age 79 years, residing at 520 South Lamar avenue, died at his home at 5 o'clock Friday afternoon, following an illness of several months standing.
Mr. Ritchie was a long and respected resident of this city, having moved to Denison from St. Louis in 1886.  Soon after reaching Denison he engaged in duties connected with the Katy railroad and for many years following plied his trade as machinist in the local railroad shops.  His retirement from actual duties was made some time ago.
The only immediate survivors of the deceased are 2 sons, G.W. and James F., both of this city.
The funeral services will be conduced from the Shields Chapel at 2:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon and interment will be made at Fairview Cemetery.
