BURNS FATAL TO AGED
WOMAN; FUNERAL MONDAY. Mrs. Georgia L. Crum, 80, a resident of Denison for fifty-six years, died at a local hospital from burns suffered when her clothing was ignited by a stove at her home a week ago. At the time, she did not appear to be very critically burned, but her advanced years combined with the injury prevented recovery, doctors said. Mrs. Crum, who made her home with her daughter, Mrs. R. E. Fehr, was in her room when her clothing became ignited. Her daughter, hearing her screams, rushed in and smothered the fire with bed clothing. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Bratcher-Moore chapel with the Rev. Guy Perdue, Trinity Methodist Church pastor, and the Memorial Christian Church pastor, the Rev. G. C. Minor, officiating. Burial was at Fairview Cemetery. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. R. E. Fehr, Denison; and two sisters, Mrs. M. L. Crane and Mrs. L. F. Breeden, both of Denison.
