  
 J. Wendell T. Erickson 1903 - 1985 Marie N. Erickson 1908 - 2006  DENISON - Funeral for J. W. T. Erickson, 81, of 221 W. Monterey, who died Monday at a local nursing home after a long illness, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Bratcher Funeral Chapel, with the Revs. John Purcell and Ed Bayless officiating. Graveside service will be conducted by Billie Mosse Lodge No. 1152 at Fairview Cemetery. Erickson was born July 16, 1903, in Kansas City, Kan., son of Mr. and Mrs. John Erickson. He married Marie Middleton Sept. 11, 1936, in Denison. Erickson first worked with Kraft Cheese, then with National Life and Accident Insurance for 20 years. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church; Billie Mosse Lodge No. 1152; Chapter 1 Royal Arch, Masons No. 138; Council No. 83 Royal and Select Masters; Denison Commandery No. 24; Hella Temple; Scottish Rite; North Texas Shrine Club; and was a charter member of the Toastmasters Club. Erickson had been a Denison resident for 51 years. He has received several state and national honors in the Toastmasters Club and in his insurance business. Surviving are his wife; daughter, Kay Brown of Fort Worth; two brothers, Oliver J. of Kansas City, Fred of Hollywood, Fla.; and two grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Gene Bedrick, Andy Davis, Dain Harvey, Maurice Kay, Jim Jimerson and Clyde Graham. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 tonight.
