KILDEAU, HEAD OF KRAFT CHEESE W. DIVISION DIES
Funeral services for Arthur E. Kildeau, general manager of the Southwestern division of the
Kraft Cheese organization, were conducted here Thursday afternoon from the Short-Murray
chapel, Rev. Guy Newman of the First Baptist Church and Rev. James E. Spivey of the First
Presbyterian church officiating. Interment was at Fairview with the Masonic order in charge
at the grave.
Mr. Kildeau died at a Dallas sanitarium where he had gone following an attack of illness while
in his office. He was under care of specialists, but after a lingering fight of two weeks death
ended the struggle.
Mr. Kildeau was born in Sydney, Australia, May 7, 1893, and came to America when he was
9 years old. He resided on the Pacific coast a number of years before joining Kraft. He was
married here in 1937 to the former Miss Anna Mae Russell and the couple has resided northwest
of Denison on Hwy. 91.
Active in business and civic affairs here, Mr. Kildeau was a director of the State National Bank
and headed the Third War Loan and a United War Chest drive. He was a director of the Chamber
of Commerce and a Mason.
Mr. Kildeau was made a member of the Texas Manufacturers Association last June and was a
councillor of the United States Chamber of Commerce.
Surviving are the widow; a brother, A.J. Barbieri, San Antonio and a nephew, David A. Barbieri, San Antonio. |
