Funeral services for Carl Augustus Hahnel, 72, retired Katy Railroad engineer and resident of Denison 48 years who was found dead Tuesday night in the back yard of his home, 525 w. Chestnut, following an apparent fall from his second-story apartment several hours earlier, will be held at 4 p.m. today from the First Presbyterian church, Rev. James E. Spivey officiating.
Interment will be at Fairview cemetery with the Denison Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers will be John F. Womack,
A. P. Wood, E. E. Cornish, C. C. baker, Dr. B. R. Busby, E. S. McIntire, and Charles McKemy. An Odd Fellows service
is to be conducted at the grave.
