Friday, April 23, 1943 pg. 6 Following a heart attack, death came a few minutes afterward to William W. Sinclair, 63, 30 Vaughan Drive at 7:10 Wednesday morning at the Katy hospital where he was receiving treatment. Born September 25, 1879 in Anderson county, Kansas, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. George P. Sinclair. He was married July 19, 1899, at Alamose, Colorado, to Miss Madeline Schenfield, following completing his education in Anderson county, Kansas. He accepted employment on the Denver & Rio Grande in 1898 and was the youngest engineer on the road. He remained with the road until coming to Denison in 1907 to accept work with the Katy. He has served as traveling enginner, and has had his last run with that road since up until he was stricken with illness. Surviving are two sons, R.G. of Philadelphia and D.R. of Parsons. Brothers are Arthur of Pueblo; Walter and Ralph of Los Angeles, and Fred of Mexico City and George of Pueblo. Also three grandchildren survive. Funeral services were conducted Saturday at 2:30 o'clock from St. Luke's Episcopal church, with Rev. Raymond Ottensmeyer officiating, and directed by Short-Murray. R.
