Monday, March 11, 1940 pg. 1 HARRY MILLER DIES AT BOND ST. HOME Harry W. Miller, 61, and residing at 1205 W. Bond street, died at his home Sunday morning. Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at the Short-Murray chapel, Rev. J.F. Murrell officiating. Interment was at Fairview, Short-Murray directing. Mr. Miller was born October 23, 1878 in San Saba county, his parents being Mr. and Mrs. G.W. Miller, and his schooling was received at Jacksboro. He was married in 1899 to Miss Mattie Calloway at Jacksboro. He lived as a boy in Denison for a short period and returned to Jacksboro. He took special training in Galveston and came back to Denison in 1903 where he has lived since and entered the services of the railway mail. He retired from that work several years ago. He was a member of the Baptist church and of the railway mail clerks association. Surviving are his widow; his fahter of El Paso; a son, Harry, of Ft. Worth; and a daughter, Mrs. Rena Bird of Tulha, Oklahoma. Brothers surviving are J.T. of Clovis, New Mexico; and B.M. of Ft. Worth. A sister is Mrs. P.H. Glass of Lubbock.
