Friday, September 10, 1954 pg 6 Funeral services for Miss Etta Peters, pioneer Denisonian, who died Wednesday, were held Thursday at Bratcher-Moore chapel with Rev. Earl C. Zetsche, minister of the Frist Christian church officiating. Burial was in Fairview cemetery. Miss Peters was born March 14, 1869, in Missouri and was reared and educated there. A Denison resident for more than a half-century, she was employed in the alteration department of the J. W. Madden store for many years. She was a member of the First Christian Church. Survivors include two brothers, S. E. Peters, Denison, and J. T. Peters, Sherman; three sisters, Mrs. J. A. Coppers, Mrs. Claude Bear and Mrs. W. T.
