  Will J. Scott 1853 - 1928 Ella J. Scott 1858 - 1887 Intelligence
reached the city Wednesday, of the death of Mrs. W. J. Scott, which
occurred from neuralgia of the heart, at San Antonio.
Mrs. Scott was the daughter of W. J. Jennings, one of Denison's pioneer business men. Ella Jennings Scott spent a large portion of her childhood and young womanhood in Denison, where her father was connected with the Lone Star flour mills. She was a leading figure in musical and society circles. Her remarkably sweet voice will be remembered by the older members of the Episcopal church, where she was leader of the choir for many years. Funeral services were held at St. Luke's Episcopal church with interment in Fairview cemetery at 10 o'clock Thursday morning.
