Tuesday, August 25, 1936 Aged Farmer David Trout Dies Monday David H. Trout, 81, residing on R.F.D. 3 for the past 25 years, died Monday at 6:45 p.m. after an illness of three weeks. Funeral services are announced for 4 p.m. Tuesday at the Short-Murray chapel with Rev. S. M. Black, pastor of Waples Memorial church, officiating. Interment will be at Fairview with Short-Murray directing. Mr. Trout was born Nov. 15, 1854 in Colin county. His parents, being Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Trout. He was married in that county after completing his education in the public schools, to Mrs. Carrie Blake Pearson. Later he moved to Hugo, Oklahoma, from which point he came to Denison in 1910 and had engaged in truck farming. He was a member of the Presbyterian church. His wife died June 3. 1934. Surviving are a son, A. L. Trout, of Denison and a daughter, Mrs. A. W. Wood, Windom, Texas. A brother, Sam, lives at Wichita Falls and a sister, Mrs. J. M. Journey, resides at Honey Grove.
