DENISON - James W. Avery Jr., 58-year-old Denison resident, passed away Thursday, July 14, 2011 at his residence.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, July 16, at Fairview Cemetery with Rev. Brian Avery officiating.
Mr. Avery was born on January 19, 1953 in Paris, Texas, the son of James Wilson and Martha J. Loftin Avery. He attended Denison schools.
He previously owned a heating and air conditioning company in Tulsa, Okla.
Surviving are his mother, Martha Avery of Denison; daughter, Jamie Michelle Avery of Tulsa,, Okla.; brothers, Dan Avery
of Cartwright, Okla. and Roger Avery of Oklahoma; sister, Elizabeth Avery Johnson of Denison; and special friend, Scott Hamel, who helped James through these last years of his illness.
He was preceded in death by his father, James W. Avery.
Johnson-Moore Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.
Viewing will be at the funeral home from noon -5 p.m. Friday, July 15.
