Sunday, October 19, 1902 pg 1 Ben C. Higginson, brother to John L., died Sunday at his room, 315 Main Street, of black jaundice. Deceased was sick for only a few days. At the time of his death he was 37 years of age. Mr. Higginson was a native of Ireland, county Antrim. He was a splendid gentleman and created a favorable impression with all who made his acquaintance. He had visited many countries, including Australia. His remains were taken to the home of his brother, No. 1002 West Morton street, and the funeral took place from there, Rev. Crittenden of St. Luke's church, officiating.
