Mildred Irene Stanberry, age 90, passed away Monday, January 18, 2021 at Beacon Hill in Denison, Texas.
Mrs. Stanberry was born June 19, 1930 to John and Naomi Zuver in Denison, Texas. She married the love of her life, Bill Stanberry, September 29, 1951. He preceded her in death May 17, 2001.  Mildred was a homemaker and member of Harless United Methodist Church. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Mrs. Stanberry is survived by her family, sister, Sarah Lou Pierson of Denison, TX; special nephews, Colin Francis of Denison, TX; Royce Pierson Jr. and wife, Connie of Achille, OK; special nieces, Debbie Childress and husband, Pete of Denison, TX; Sheila Toombs of Achille, OK; Courtney Toombs and Alex and their son, Sylar Jackson of Achille, OK; and very special to her heart are the mother`s of her “grandchildren”. Theresa Huff, mother to Caleb Francis and Becky Garcia, mother to Ryan Garcia. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Stanberry, parents, John and Naomi Zuver and brother-in-law, Royce Pierson Sr.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, January 21, 2021 at Fisher Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Keith Taylor officiating.  Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Family and friends will gather from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at Fisher Funeral Home in Denison.
Pallbearers will be Royce Pierson Jr, Pete Childress, Ryan Garcia, Joe Smith, Alex Jackson, and Caleb Francis.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fisher Funeral Home in Denison.
