Denison- Service for Pauline Hughes Moore, 81, long time resident , of Denison, Tx.,was held at 10 a.m. Wednesday,
Aug. 18,, in Fairview Chapel at Fairview Cemetery. She died Sunday, Aug. 15, 1999, at Texoma Medical Center in Denison.
The Rev. Sanford Grigg will officate with burial in Fairview Cemetery.
Mrs. Moore was born on June 25,1918, in Lamar Co., Tx., the daughter of John Thomas and Ida Mae (Townsley) Smith.
In 1943, she married Gayland Hughes. He preceded her in death, in 1962.
She worked for, Levi Strauss and was a member of the Baptist Church.
Pallbearers: Joe Smith, Joe E. Smith, Jerry Smith, Kenny Smith, Tommy Smith and Timmy Smith. These were all Nephews to "Aunt Pene", all with the Smith Name.
Survivors was one brother, Kenneth Smith Of Dennison, Tx., and many Neices and Nephews.
Preceding her in Death, her parents, her six sisters, two great neices.
