Frances Sexton, age 87, went home to be with the Lord November 5, 2022, at her home in Durant, Oklahoma.

Mrs. Sexton was born August 23, 1935, in Blue, Oklahoma the daughter of Odes Allen and Agnes (Divine) Cross. Frances married Bobby Joe Sexton, November 27, 1954, in Denison, Texas. She owned and operated Sexton Tax Service in Denison. Frances was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Although her passing leaves a void in all of our lives she will live on forever in our hearts.

Mrs. Sexton leaves behind her beloved family, daughter, Mary Ernst and husband, Brian of Denison, TX; granddaughters, Kendra Petty of Sadler, TX, Sarah Rice and husband, Brian of Denison, TX and Shelley Petty and husband, Jayson of Sadler, TX; great-granddaughters, Shaman Petty of Sadler, TX, Haily Petty of Sadler, TX, Emily Petty of Sadler, TX and Madison Rice of Denison, TX; great-grandsons, Bryton Petty of Sadler, TX, Justin Petty of Sadler, TX and Collin Rice of Denison, TX. Frances was preceded in death by her parents, Odes and Agnes Cross, beloved husband, Bobby Joe Sexton, and daughter, Rebecca Sexton.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, November 10, 2022, at Fisher Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Denison. Family visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, November 9, 2022, at Fisher Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Brian Rice, Collin Rice, Jayson Petty, Justin Petty, Chris Garcia, and BT Petty.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fisher Funeral Home, located at 604 West Main in Denison.
