Jesse Allen McKean, age 92, of Denison, Texas passed away on October 23, 2022.

He was born August 15, 1930, in Murrayville, Illinois, the son of Howard E. and Mayme A. Clarkson McKean. Jesse attended school and played basketball for Murrayville High School.  When the school closed down, he transferred to Jacksonville High School where he graduated in 1948.

Jesse joined the U.S. Air Force in 1948 and retired as a Master Sgt in 1969.  He also retired from the Missouri-Kansas-Texas/UP Railroad as a Freight Rate Specialist in 1993.

He married Barbara Jean Dickerson September 26, 1953.  She preceded him in death, March 19, 2002. He married Georgeanne Marine on September 12, 2003.  She preceded him in death on November 4, 2015.

Surviving is his two sons Mark (Dottie) McKean of Garland, Tim (Pam) McKean of Augusta, Georgia, and daughter Bettye Finnell of Denison, along with stepchildren Rick Marine and Georgia Norman of Whitehall, Il.

Jesse was also the proud Papa of 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren along with numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his four sisters Louise, Margaret, Helen, and Janet and six brothers James, Charles, John, Howard, Edward, and Paul.

Family night will be held at Fisher Funeral Home on Thursday, October 27, 2022, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Graveside Services will be held Friday, October 28, 2022, 10:00 am at Fairview Cemetery in Denison, Texas.
