Friday, March 8, 1957 pg.6 Funeral services for Harry Daniel Sarrett, 74, were held at Johnson-Moore Funeral Home Monday afternoon. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery. Mr. Sarrett, whose home was at 1029 W. Chestnut, died a 120 Prospect, Friday at 1:35 p.m. after a long illness. Born in Mississippi, Mr. Sarrett was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Dan Sarrett. He received his schooling in Hillsboro and Denison schools and was married in Durant in 1930 to Prudye Hillard. He served many years as brakeman for the Katy before his retirement about 18 years ago. He was a member of the B. of E.T. Surviving are his wife; one son, M/Sgt. George Sarrett, Wichita Falls; 2 stepsons, Melvin Franklin, Wichita Falls; and Lloyd Franklin, San Antonio; 4 brothers, Home Sarrett, Coleman; Louis and Bill Sarrett, all of Ada, Oklahoma; 2 sisters, Mrs. Hugh Loby, Ada and Mrs. Margie Carroll, Larence, Californians; and 5 grandchildren.
