DENISON - Funeral for Otto
O'dell Price, 70, who died Friday in a Denison hospital, will be at
10:30 Monday in Waples Memorial United Methodist Church with Rev. Tom
Peel officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
Born Oct. 19, 1915, in Denison to John A. and Pearl Baker Price, he
married Mildred Ruth Reed Dec. 11, 1937, at Durant. He was a conductor
on the Missouri-Kansas-Texas Railroad, retiring in 1966. He was a
member of Waples Memorial United Methodist Church., Woodmen of the
World and the United Transportation Union. He graduated from Denison
High School in 1935 and was active in organizing its Depression Years
Reunion.
Survivors include his wife of Denison; a sister, Dorothy (Mrs. O. C.)
Pierce of San Antonio, and a nephew, Edward Pitchford of Denison.
Pallbearers will be Gene Stringer, Frank Graves, Joe Dusek, John Scott,
Dan Bentley, Robert Hendrix, James Gatlin and A. D. Lummus.
The family will be at the funeral home from 4-5 p.m. Sunday.
