Rev. Ronald Prince, pastor of Parkside Baptist church, conducted funeral services Monday afternoon at Bratcher-Moore chapel for Raymond J. Hale of 2405 W. Walker. Interment was in Fairview cemetery with Bratcher-Moore in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Hale was 48 years of age, and was a brakeman on the M-K-T. railroad lines.  He died suddenly Sunday while at work on his train.
He was born in Yoakum, Texas, March 27, 1902, son of Mr. and Mrs. Earnest Hale.  He attended school in Austin.  He was married December 15, 1932 in Altus, Oklahoma to Miss Lois Young.  He was a member of the Baptist church.
Survivors are his widow; a son, Donald Ray Hale; his parents, Mrs. S.E. Riddle of Denison and Earnest Hale of Wichita Falls; and a brother, H.F. Hale of Denison.
