Friday, April 30, 1954 pg 6 Rev. Earnest L. Potter officiated at funeral services for William G. McGirk Monday afternoon in Bratcher-Moore chapel. Interment was in Fairview cemetery with Bratcher-Moore in charge of arrangements. Mr. McGirk died suddenly Saturday afternoon. He was born in McGirk, Mo., April 15, 1889, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert McGirk. He was a retired C&S RR employee and made his home with his sister, Mrs. Alta Harrell at 314 W. Texas. He was a member of Calvary Baptist church and the veterans of Foreign Wars. He was a veteran of World War I and 2. Survivors are three sons, William S. McGirk, San Fernando, Cal., J. E. McGirk, Riviera, Cal., and Clyde McGirk, Chulavista, Cal; one daughter, Mrs. Lloyd Cory, Hobbs, N.M.; three brothers, C. E. of Sedalia, Mo., J. E. of St. Louis and Clyde of Denison; three sisters, Mrs. Harrell and Mrs. Tom Bassham, Denison and Mrs. S. R. Shikles, Denver, and six grandchildren. Clyde W. McGirk 1895 - 1968 Violet M.
