Our mother, aka Mingo to her grandchildren, was a very sweet lady who lived a simple life.  She never wanted for anything as she was content and thankful for what she had.  Anyone knowing Mother knew she was an excellent cook and a self-taught seamstress...her wonderful pies were the best ever.   For many years she enjoyed cooking chili and was a part of the original FCC chili day tradition which continues today.  Mother also enjoyed yard work of any kind, but especially trimming hedges at anyone's home and at church as her clippers were always handy in the back of her car.  But most of all,
she was a great "Mingo" to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom she loved dearly.  We love you, Mother, and it's very hard to say goodbye to you now, but we have great comfort knowing you are with our Lord and Savior and that we will be reunited together again one day for eternity.
