DENISON - Anita Maria Young went to be with Our Lord and Savior early Monday morning, April 27, 2009.
Ms. Young was born Anita Maria Mller to Hedwig & Johann Nicolaus Mller in Neuleiningen, Germany on July 17, 1928.
She met her husband, Thomas W. Young, Sr. in Luxembourg in the Summer of 1955. On Aug. 9, 1955 they married each other in Chambley, France.
They gave birth to two sons, Thomas W. Young Jr. on April 12, 1956, then on Dec. 18, 1957, she gave birth to Talmage W. Young II.
She always had a sweet tooth til the very end, even though she had diabetes, she had to stop. On special occasions, like birthdays to close friends of hers, she would give them a german chocolate cake or a cheesecake.
She was preceded in death by husband Tom Sr. on March 14, 1977 and their first born Tom Jr. on March 13, 1989. Surviving is her second son, Talmage Young II.
Services will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, April 30, 2009 in the chapel at Fairview Cemetery, with burial in Fairview Cemetery, Denison. Pallbearers will be Jerry Owens and John Mabary. There will be no family visitation.
Arrangements are under the direction of Bratcher Funeral Home, 401 W. Woodard St., Denison.
