Denison, Texas, Nov. 22 - What was to have been a day of celebrating th fifth birthday anniversary today of Joe M. Cox, Jr., has been turned into a time of mourning. Death came yesterday afternoon at 3:30 after a short illness of pneumonia at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Cox, 405 West Munson street. Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. John L Andrews, pastor of South Side Christian Church tomorrow, from the family residence. The hour will not be set until a sister at San Antonio can be heard from. Burial will be at Fairview cemetery, directed by Geo. Shields.
