    Lawrence Lee Mitchell 1 November 1924 - 25 December 2015 Lawrence
Lee Mitchell. age 91, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday,
December 25, 2015 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison surrounded by his
family.
Mr. Mitchell was born November 1, 1924 in Blue Oklahoma; the son of Will Bert and Lockey (Waters) Mitchell. He attended school in Blue, OK before moving to Texas. Lawrence worked for the Katy Railroad and then as a carpenter with his dad. He loved to go fishing and was of the Baptist faith. Lawrence was kind hearted and will be missed by those who knew and loved him. Mr. Mitchell is survived by his loving family, sister, Clarice Driggs; brother, Cleo Mitchell and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Leon Mitchell who was killed in Okinawa during WWII and Dale Mitchell. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at Fisher Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Family visitation will be held one hour prior to service.
