- Graveside service for Jessie Vivian Bishop, 97, who died Friday in a
Denison hospital, will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Fairview Cemetery with
the Rev. John Bishop officiating. Bratcher Funeral Home will
direct the services. Born Oct. 27, 1890, in Denison to Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Rowland, she married Sullivan R. Bishop July 15, 1909, in Denison. He died in 1943. She married Luther L. Perry Nov. 23, 1947, in Greenville. He died in 1969. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Easter Star. Survivors include a daughter, Lola Fay Zuercher, of Denison; three sisters, Iva Fleener of Dallas, Ester Merritt of Hollywood, Fla. and Catherine Clark of Denison; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Richard Clark, Paul Lowe, Harold Bryan, Milburn Crenshaw, Jerry Crenshaw, Dick Wright, Jason Ladewig and Kenneth Sturges.
