 2014  Willard Dotson 18 December 1917 - 18 July 1988 Estaline Dotson 12 June 1924 - 16 April 2008  July 2017  Estaline Dotson 17 June 1924 - 16 April 2008 Shawnee, OK — Shawnee resident Estaline Dotson died Wednesday April 16, 2008, at the home of her daughter, in Shawnee. She was born June 12, 1924, in Stone, Ky, to Steve and Rhonda Queen, the third of four children. At the age of 10 she began working as a baby-sitter and house cleaner, sometimes walking more than five miles over mountains to get to work. She married Willard Dotson Fed. 18, 1943. She was a homemaker and a seamstress. They moved to Fort Sumner in 1971, where she continued her work as a seamstress and making and selling dolls and doll clothing until moving to Denison, Texas, in 1985. She moved to Clovis in 1991 and after becoming too ill to care for herself moved to Shawnee to live with her daughter, Marcella Murphy. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1988. She survived by her children, Marcella Murphy of Shawnee, Linda Hurford and husband Don of Corsicana, Texas, Willard Dotson of Shawnee, Harold Dotson and wife Diane of Sparta, Tenn, and Ted Dotson of Fort Sumner; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be one hour before service time. Service will be 2 pm Monday at the Fairview Chapel, located in Fairview Cemetery, in Denison, Texas.
