Aged 43 Years 7 Months 26 Days
The Sunday Gazetteer
Sunday May 26, 1895
At an early hour Thursday morning at his home, 325 West Chestnut
street, Max Munzesheimer passed into the mysterious beyond. He had been
sick only a few days and the immediate cause of the death was that of
inflammation of the bowels. He was born in Baden-Baden, Germany, in
1851, and was in this 4th year of age. For a number of years
Munzesheimer has been a familiar figure among the Dennison sporting
people. He was a kind and provident husband and father and aside from
his infatuation for the gaming tables he was a good citizen. The
remains were interred Friday morning in Fairview cemetery, the funeral
being conducted from the family residence on West Chestnut street.
