FANNIE RUSK Funeral services were held at Bratcher-Moore chapel, Thursday, Aug. 30, for Mrs. Fannie Rusk, 83, 527 W. Morgan, who died in a local hospital Wednesday after a two-months illness. The Rev. Richard Crews, pastor of the First Christian church, officiated and interment was in Friendship cemetery. Mrs. Rusk was born in Addison, Ohio, Dec. 18, 1867, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Rife. She received her education in Ohio and was married in 1883 to W.B. Rusk, a farmer, who passed away some time ago. Mrs. Rusk was a member of the First Christian church, and Katy’s Pride No. 33 Degree of Honor. Survivors are one son, Harold Rusk, Denison; two daughters, Mrs. Margaret Werline and Mrs. Georgia Dumas, Denison; 3 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
